Frequently asked questions Beta
Common questions about verification, credential IDs, technical health, privacy, and how Sinioo works.

Sinioo is the international protocol for transparent credential verification. We help citizens, companies, and organizations turn claims into verifiable proof by issuing digital credentials and continuously monitoring technical health. Anyone can verify a credential using a verification ID, company name, citizen or founder name, or organization name.

  • Apply — Submit identity and registration documents, plus evidence about your organization or service.
  • Validate — Sinioo reviews official records, identity proofs, and supporting evidence against clear verification criteria.
  • Credential — If approved, a unique verification ID and credential are issued and published.
  • Monitor — Technical health metrics for registered websites or services are retrieved and updated to keep the trust signal current.

Verification IDs are issued after approval and are visible on your Sinioo verification record and on the search results page. They are not distributed as a PDF credential document.

Format example: SIN-2026-000124.

Enter the verification ID, company name, citizen or founder name, or organization name into the search box on the Verify page. Results are fetched in real time and show verification status, credential details, and technical health metrics when available.

When a verified organization has a registered website, the following metrics are retrieved from external monitoring services (Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse) and displayed:

  • Performance Score (0–100) — Overall assessment of webpage performance
  • LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) — Measures loading speed of primary content; lower is better
  • FID (First Input Delay) — Measures interactivity responsiveness; lower is better
  • CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) — Measures visual stability; lower is better
  • TTFB (Time to First Byte) — Server response time; lower is better

These metrics help assess the operational quality and user experience of the organization's web presence.

Metrics are fetched on-demand when you view a verification result. They reflect the most recent measurement available from the external monitoring service at the time of the query. For up-to-date values, you can refresh the verification page or re-run the search.

Verification is available to:

  • Citizens and founders
  • Registered companies and startups
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Public institutions and service providers

Applicants must provide identity documents, legal registration evidence, and a working website or service endpoint. Applications are reviewed manually and approved based on Sinioo's verification standards.

Basic verification is currently offered free of charge during our Beta phase. Enterprise-grade verification and custom assessments may be subject to fees in the future. We will communicate any pricing changes clearly before they take effect.

Sinioo is based in The Gambia. Our company and legal operations are registered there.

Sinioo was founded by Demba Kah. The platform was built to make verification transparent, evidence-based, and instantly accessible.

Verification records are stored in a secure cloud database (Firebase/Firestore) with encryption in transit and at rest. Public verification data (credential ID, organization name, founder name, verification status, technical health scores) is intentionally designed to be publicly accessible via the verification search to establish trust. Private account data (email addresses, submitted documents) is accessible only to authenticated authorized personnel. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

If an organization fails verification, its credential status changes to "Not verified" or "Pending". The verification ID, if issued, is flagged in the database and shown as invalid in search results. The historical record remains accessible for transparency. Revocation may occur if:

  • Supporting documents are found to be falsified
  • The organization engages in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Technical health drops below acceptable thresholds and fails re-assessment
  • The organization requests removal for legitimate reasons

Organizations may appeal a revocation decision by contacting hello@sinioo.com with supporting evidence.

If you believe a verification record contains inaccurate or outdated data, please contact us via the Contact page or email hello@sinioo.com with:

  • The verification ID or organization name
  • Specific details of the inaccuracy
  • Supporting evidence (links, documents, screenshots)

We investigate every claim and update records or reach out to the verified organization for clarification within 3–5 business days.

Sinioo is a legally registered limited liability company (Sinioo Ltd.) in The Gambia. Our governing law is the Republic of The Gambia. All Terms of Service and legal matters are subject to Gambian jurisdiction. See our Terms of Service for complete legal details, including company registration placeholders that will be updated with official registration numbers upon incorporation finalization.

Public verification data (credential ID, organization name, founder name, verification status, technical health scores) is intentionally immutable and retained indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the Trust‑Vault Protocol's public audit trail. This data cannot be deleted. Private personal data (email addresses, account information) may be removed upon verified request where legally permissible, subject to retention requirements for compliance and anti-fraud purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full data retention details.

The Trust‑Vault Protocol is Sinioo's open methodology for combining evidence-backed verification with continuous technical monitoring. Each verified entity receives a unique credential ID whose verification status and technical health indicators are publicly queryable. The protocol creates a tamper-resistant trust signal that people can validate through Sinioo search results.

A Sinioo verification indicates that the organization passed our evidence-backed checks at the time of issuance. It does not constitute:

  • Endorsement of the organization's products, services, or business practices
  • A guarantee of financial stability, investment returns, or business success
  • A warranty of ongoing compliance—verification status may change based on re-assessment
  • Legal or regulatory approval from any government agency

Verification is a trust signal, not a guarantee. Always conduct your own due diligence.

Verified organizations can display the official Sinioo trust badge on their website. You'll receive badge assets and embedding instructions in your credential package. The badge must be displayed in its original form without alteration and must link to your verification page on Sinioo. Misuse may result in credential revocation. For badge use details, contact us at hello@sinioo.com.

If you disagree with a verification decision (rejection or revocation), you may appeal by emailing appeals@sinioo.com with:

  • Your organization name and verification ID (if applicable)
  • The specific decision being appealed
  • Supporting evidence or documentation addressing the concerns raised
  • Any additional context relevant to your case

Appeals are reviewed by a separate team within Sinioo and typically resolved within 5–10 business days. The decision following appeal is final.

For all other inquiries—partnerships, developer access, legal matters, or general support—please use the Contact page or email hello@sinioo.com. We respond within 1–2 business days.
